Driving Lessons in Andover
Hi, my name is Emily Green and I am the owner operator of Green Light Driving Academy in Andover. I believe that learning to drive is not just about getting a driving license, but more importantly learning a new skill that will stay with you for the rest of your life. With my driving school, it's important to me that when you're learning to drive that you get value for money and learning definitely takes place. I want all my customers to be completely satisfied by the service they receive from Green Light Driving Academy.
I may not be the cheapest driving instructor in Andover but I believe that "You Get What You Pay For" so it's important that I structure your lessons to suit you. I know that everybody learns differently when taking driving lessons so this is why I ensure that all of my clients get a bespoke driver training package that suits them and works for them.
The practical driving test is very different from what it was 15 years ago, and it's very very rare that anyone can pass their driving test without any professional tuition from a driving instructor. But with my expertise and by tailoring a proper structured training plan for you this will help you not only learn a new skill for life, but it will also help you to reach the driving test standard with the minimum amount of hours that YOU need.

License Checker - FYI
Since the 08th June 2015, the paper counterpart to the photocard driving license isn't valid and is no longer issued by the DVLA. The counterpart was introduced to display driving licence details that could not be included on the photocard. These details include some vehicle categories you are entitled to drive and any endorsement/penalty points.
Pupil's with existing paper counterparts - If you already hold a paper counterpart, since 8 June 2015 it no longer has any legal status. You should destroy your paper counterpart after this date but you still need to keep your current photocard driving licence.
Pupils with paper driving licences - Paper driving licences issued before the photocard was introduced in 1998 will remain valid and should not be destroyed. If you need to update your name, address or renew your licence, you will be issued with a photocard only.
Taking your theory or practical driving test - Since 8 June 2015, you don’t need to take your paper counterpart with you when you go for your theory or driving test. You must still take your photocard, or your old-style paper licence - your test will be cancelled and you’ll have to pay again if you don’t.
Fraud and confirming your driver record - Sometimes before you start learning to drive we may need to check that everything is in order (entitlements and/or penalty points), you can do this online for free by accessing our Share Driving Licence service. The service should be used by both paper and photocard driving licence holders. You can generate a ‘check code’ to pass on to Green Light Driving Academy who will then check your driving licence details.
If you cannot generate a code online then you can call 0300 083 0013 and DVLA will provide you with a code.
Green Light Driving Academy adhere to the code of conduct set out by the DVSA. You can click here to find out more about the driving instructors in Andover and all ADI's code of conduct.
Once you have a Check Code please pass it on to Green Light Driving Academy so that we can complete the checking process before your first lesson.
